Celebrity Launch for Pollyanna's Campaign

Three famous faces from stage and screen took time out of their hectic schedules recently to lend their support to the Pollyanna Pickering Foundation's Company of Wolves fund-raising campaign.

Actresses Lisa Goddard and Susan Penhaligan joined Michael Praed of Robin of Sherwood and Dynasty fame to officially launch the 2004 campaign, which will raise funds to help preserve the habitat of the European wolf, which is under threat of extinction.

They are pictured above with Pollyanna and one of her original paintings, worth £2,500.00, the first prize in the Foundation's Grand Prize Draw. The draw took place in July 2004.

"I am delighted to offer my support to Pollyanna's Foundation" Michael Praed told us "she is such an incredibly talented artist, and I know the money raised will make a huge difference to the people who are working so hard to save these beautiful animals."
