Crystal Ball
The Children with AIDS Charity was set up in 1992 to help the
youngest of those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS maintain
a good quality of life. It is a national UK charity with the
aim of working towards a future without poverty or prejudice
for these children and their families. CWAC has three main ways
of helping children and families infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
They provide direct financial support through a hardship and
respite fund, assistance with transport and transport costs
and aim to educate people about the disease and how to prevent
its spread.

Pollyanna with Clive Anderson
Pollyanna was very pleased to be invited to help the charity
celebrate their 15th (crystal) anniversary at a Crystal Ball
at The Dorchester Hotel, London on 29 September. The glittering
evening included a spectacular designer fashion show with crystal
themed outfits made especially for the event by designers such
as Amanda Wakeley, Paul Costelloe, Lindka Ceirach, Anya Hindmarch,
Allegra Hicks, Ben de Lisi, Gharani Strok and Versace. The fashion
show was hosted by TV presenter Philip Schofield, singer Sophie
Ellis-Bextor provided the entertainment, and talk show host
Clive Anderson (pictured above with Pollyanna) was hilarious
as the official auctioneer. Danielle Lloyd appeared as a celebrity
model – and also spotted on the evening were tennis star
Greg Rusedski and his wife Lucy.
