Wonderful World Prize Draw

Pollyanna and Leslie Grantham select the winners

A big Thank You to everybody who contributed towards the Foundation's major fund-raising project 'Wonderful World'. Pollyanna's Summer Exhibition, inspired by her travels throughout the world was her most successful ever, and the Pollyanna Pickering Foundation received 10% of all sales.

The annual Prize draw ran in conjunction with the exhibition, and the winning ticket was drawn in August by actor Leslie Grantham, best known for his iconic role as 'Dirty Den' in Eastenders. Leslie was pleased to take time out of his busy touring schedule to help support the foudation - he is currently starring in the national tour of 'Dad's Army'.

Between the sales of prize draw tickets, tickets, and percentage of sales donated by Pollyanna from the "Wonderful World" exhibition, the Foundation has so far raised £4,900.00 for the current campaign. The money will be used to continue work on building a tiger orphanage in Nepal, in association with the Bill Jordan Foundation, and to support British willidfe sanctuaries.
