David Shepherd - 75th Birthday Celebrations

Pollyanna was delighted to be invited to join fellow wildlife artist David Shepherd in celebrating his 75th birthday at the Dorchester Hotel in London in June. Pollyanna joined David (above right) , and a host of his family, friends as well as celebrity guests at a lavish party to mark the occasion. Pollyanna and David are both patrons of the Wildlife Art Society International, and have frequently exhibited at the same London galleries. "It was a pleasure to be part of this lovely event" Pollyanna commented "I have such enormous respect for the conservation work David has initiated through his Foundation - his fund-raising has made a real difference to wildlife internationally. He has such wonderful enthusiasm, commitment and energy"

The Duke of Kent was the guest of honour at the party - other guests included actress Rula Lenska, comedienne and presenter Sandi Toksvig, actor Robert Lindsay, and cricket legend David Gower, below (left) with Pollyanna.
