Sandbeck
Park Exhibition
Pollyanna was pleased to include original work in an exhibition
at Sandbeck Hall in South Yorkshire, by kind invitation of the
Earl of Scarbrough (pictured below left with Pollyanna at the
official press launch for the event)

Sandbeck
The exhibition raised funds for the charity SAFE@Last who are
aiming to build a Safeplace refuge for young runaways. Chhildren,
some as young as 11, can find themselves forced onto the streets
without money, food or shelter. The refuge will protect them,
and ensure they free from exploitation.
The exhibition began with an Italien themed gala evening, featuring
fine food and wines, and live entertainment in the lovely setting
of the stately home. Other artists exhibiting work included
Max Lowry, best known for the Sacla Sauce TV commercial, in
which he paints a giant mural – and guests included best-selling
author Gervaise Phinn (with Pollyanna below). Pollyanna has
agreed to exhibit again at the 2008 event.
