Celebrity Garden Party

Pollyanna with Lorraine Chase and Alexandra Bastedo

Pollyanna opened the garden at her home in Derbyshire for the inaugural fundraising event for the Pollyanna Pickering Foundation - a celebrity garden party.

Visitors were able to meet actresses Alexandra Bastedo and Lorraine Chase, (above with Pollyanna) as well as taking the opportunity to look round Pollyanna's private gallery, and enjoy strawberries and cream in the garden. Charities Wildaid and the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust also had exhibition stands at the event. Radiolink conducted an interview at the event to be broadcast on regional hospital radio stations.

Pollyanna and Alexandra signed copies of the book 'the Healthy Cat' - written by Alexandra who also runs an animal sanctuary, Pollyanna has provided illustrations and the cover painting.
