Out now…Pollyanna’s painting ‘Speed of

a gala ball as part of their million pound appeal to build a
new rescue and resources centre in Rotherham. Pollyanna is looking

Exhibition : Wonderful World

Details : Pollyanna is returning to Patchings
with a one man exhibition as part of their 15th anniversary
celebration programme. The exhibition will include the first
public viewing of three of the piantings completed for the BBC
documentary 'Made in England'. The centre which has been described
by The Artist Magazine as ‘one of the foremost art centres
in the country’ is housed in restored farm buildings set
within 60 acres of landscaped grounds. Three galleries hold
monthly exhibitions, and the centre also houses an art materials
shop and a licensed restaurant. Pollyanna has enjoyed an association
with Patchings from their very early days, holding several one
man exhibitions with them, visiting their festival to give her
always popular talks and presentations, and guesting as a speaker
at their members’ evenings. Update - please note this
event will now close 4 days earlier than originally advertised
to allow for essential building work in the gallery.

Details : Pollyanna will be taking part for
the first time in the Derbyshire Open Arts weekend – an
annual visual arts and crafts event across the county which
invites you to visit artists and craftspeople in their showspaces
and workplaces. Pollyanna will be working on a demonstration
painting at her gallery on bank holiday Monday, and will be
happy to chat to vistiors about her work. A retrospective of
original work will be on dislay including pieces from throughout
her career – including some early industrial landscapes
alongside the more familiar wildlife paintings! A selection
of cards, prints and books will also be avilable. All visitors
to our event will have the opportunity to complete a simple
questionnaire which will be entered into a prize draw for money
towards the purchase of artwork by any of the event’s

Exhibition :Society of Feline Artist's Exhibition
Venue : Shire Hall Mount Folly Bodmin Cornwall

Details : As a signature member of the society,
Pollyanna will include recent original paintings in this exhibition
at Shire Hall. Built between 1837 and 1838 the venue is an architectural
gem with its extraordinary interior, cantilevered staircase
and front facade.
Unfortunately this exhibition has been cancelled - we recieved
this message from the gallery : "I am writing to inform
you that at the full Bodmin Town Council meeting held on 17th
January it was decided after due deliberation to close the Shire
Hall Gallery from 31st March 2008.In a climate of tight budgeting,
the Council have decided to concentrate on its statutory duties
and core functions. As I am sure you will appreciate this is
a real blow to all who have worked so hard to develop the gallery
programme over the last few years. "

Venue : The Adult Eductaion Centre, Clay Cross,

Details : Pollyanna will be the Guest Artist
throughout the County Council's first Day of Art, which will
promote the development of arts in the county for the benefit
of the people who live, work in and visit Derbyshire. She will
be working on a demonstration painting throughout the day, and
will be pleased to chat to visitors about her work. There will
also be a small exhibition of paintings, limited editions, cards
and books.

Event : An English Country Garden - Christmas Exhibition
Venue : the Gallery, Brookvale House, Oaker,
Matlock, Derbyshire

Details : The paintings which will be on display
at this year's Christmas exhibition have been inspired by Pollyanna's
love of the traditional gardens of the British Isles. This will
be the very first chance to view over fifty new original piantings
which have never before been on display to the public in the
relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of Pollyanna's private gallery
in Derbyshire's Peak District. An extensive range of published
work will also be on display, including limited edition prints
and giftware, and over 150 Christmas card designs to choose
from.
Following the popularity of last year’s extended exhibition,
we will again be opening for two weeks, with late night shopping
evenings on Wednesday 26th Nov & 3rd Dec until 8.00pm.
