Pollyanna’s life and work will be celebrated in a retrospective exhibition in the beautiful surroundings of this hidden gem of a gallery. The exhibition will fill three spacious galleries and will showcase 6 paintings inspired by her travels to all seven continents, alongside artwork featuring her beloved British wildlife. There will also be an opportunity to view a selection of Pollyanna’s working sketches and handwritten journals, as well as artefacts brought home from her expeditions. The spectacular trophy presented earlier this year in a gala ceremony at the Museum of Art and Design in New York recognising Pollyanna’s ‘Outstanding Contribution to Arts and Culture’ will also be on display throughout the exhibition. In addition to the original artwork there will also be a selection of signed limited edition prints on display, as well as a range of books, cards and giftware available throughout.
Pollyanna was proud to be a Patron of Howarth Art Gallery. She is pictured below left joining fellow patron Eric Knowles to officially open their artist’s studios in a renovated stables block. She also filmed an interview for the Splash of Paint TV show at the gallery, and was honoured to be Patron of the Macmillan Art Fair staged annually at the venue. She is pictured below performing the official opening ceremony at the 2015 event.

Haworth Art Gallery is Lancashire’s finest Arts & Crafts house and garden. It was designed by the architect, Walter Brierley and houses the internationally important Tiffany Glass Museum, Accrington Art Gallery and artists studios in the former stables. The Gallery Kitchen Cafe serves food from 11.00am to 4.00pm, Tuesday to Sunday. The menu offers a wide range of light lunches and afternoon teas.
The gallery is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12.00 noon – 5.00pm and Saturday and Sunday 12.00 noon to 4.00pm. Admission is free, and the gallery has its own car park.
