Talk: Here be Dragons

Details :  Anna-Louise is pleased to return to the The Hull Literary and Philosophical Society to present this talk about Pollyanna’s expeditions in Indonesia. Anna-Louise is often asked if the duo ever faced any dangerous situations while on their working expeditions – and on this journey they came face to face with one of the most potentially dangerous creatures they ever studied – armed only with a stick! Whilst in Indonesia they visited several islands which are home to the legendary komodo dragons. trekking in temperatures which reached 43ºC in order to come face to face with the world’s largest and most dangerous venomous lizards in their natural habitat.
