Bradley Walsh Picks the Winner!
Actor, Presenter and TV personality Bradley Walsh joined Anna-Louise, President of The Pollyanna Pickering Foundation, to draw the winning ticket in our Winter prize draw.
Probably best known as the charismatic host of the popular game show The Chase – which he has presented for 14 years – Bradley has enjoyed an illustrious career in British television. He has appeared in many TV shows and films, including Doctor Who and Coronation Street. He has even enjoyed success in the music charts with his albums Chasing Dreams and When You’re Smiling!
More recently Bradley has followed in Pollyanna’s footsteps – travelling with his son Barney on a series of adventures across several countries for the travel series Breaking Dad. So far the pair have travelled across North and South America and Europe, taking on challenges en route, while the next series will see them heading to Asia.
Ever the entertainer, when drawing the ticket, Bradley made the selection in the style of a stage magician – pretending to make it disappear – and then thankfully for the winner! –reappear once again!
Between the sales of prize draw tickets, donations and a percentage of sales from the November exhibition in Pollyanna’s gallery the Foundation has raised £2,5000.00 to help protect cheetahs in Somaliland – find out more about this project on page 8.
