Details : Anna-Louise is honoured to have been invited to present the inaugural Pollyanna Pickering Award at the Gala Awards Ceremony in the beautiful setting of the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum. The awards ceremony will also see the presentation of the AFC’s medals of excellence, and other art and conservation awards.
Guests will be welcomed to the event at 2.30pm, and the ceremony will start with slide presentations celebrating the work of the AFC. The awards will begin at 3.15, culminating in the presentation of the trophy honouring Pollyanna’s legacy. This will be followed by a reception and viewing of the AFC exhibition in the gallery, which includes the winning painting by Douglass Lockyer.
The museum and art gallery aims to inspire people to live in harmony with the natural world by fostering love, appreciation, and understanding of the Sonoran Desert.
