Details : Anna-Louise will be the guest speaker at the Holymoorside History Society group’s May meeting.
Pollyanna’s determination to paint only animals which she had observed in their natural habitats lead her into a remarkable and unique series of expeditions into some of the most inhospitable areas of the globe across all seven continents. Anna-Louise accompanied her on all of her journeys to document them photographically. The travels were not without their dangers – from being charged by a wild tiger to chased by a spitting cobra – but despite these challenges in this talk you will find out why Anna-Louise says being the assistant to a wildlife artist is the best job in the world…
