Anna-Louise becomes Honorary President

Pollyanna’s daughter Anna-Louise is delighted to have accepted the role of Honorary President to Chesterfield Art Club, a role previously held by Pollyanna for many years.

In her first official visit as President, Anna-Louise attended the group’s annual exhibition– and was welcomed by the incredible cake pictured above! . She also presented prizes and awards during the evening, including The Pollyanna Pickering Award for the best Natural History subject. The trophy for the award is a beautiful glass sculpture of Polar Bears. In her speech on the evening, Anna-Louise told the group how honoured she was to accept the role of President of the Art Society and to continue to represent Pollyanna in this way, saying “we were both always made to feel so welcome by the members, and I will look forward to attending many more meetings and events”.
