Craft TV to ‘Highlight’ Pollyanna’s Artwork

We are delighted to announce that there is a new home for the television launches of Pollyanna Pickering Papercrafting projects – Craft TV. Anna-Louise is pictured above on the set of the inaugural live launch show with crafting favourite Lynda Chapman.

The Craft TV channel is presented by Highlight Crafts – a family owned craft company located in the heart of England. Their products are designed in the UK and produced to the highest of standards. Their Creative Director is crafting legend Stephanie Weightman – a passionate crafter herself, turning her hand as easily to textile arts as to her main occupation as a renowned TV papercraft supremo. As an experienced Ideal World, QVC and Create and Craft presenter, Stephanie has now created her own in-house studios. Craft TV streams live shopping shows six days a week and also offers hours of video content, featuring inspirational craft demonstrations, tips and advice. They broadcast live 8am – 2pm & 6pm Mon – Thurs, 8am – 2pm Friday and 8am – 1pm on Saturdays.

Anna-Louise visited the studios for the first time in December – and was blown away by the response to the two hour live show. “There was such a lovely friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the studios” she said afterwards “and wonderful interaction with the viewers –people even shared memories and photos of themselves meeting Pollyanna at crafting events for us to show on air during the programme.”

Anna-Louise has been booked to appear on a series of shows throughout 2026 – the first on the 10^th March will see the launch of a brand new papercrafting kit – number one in a two part series “Pollyanna’s Year” – celebrating British Wildlife through the seasons.

We are also very excited to announce that the Highlight Crafts Academy, based at their headquarters in Derbyshire will be hosting two Pollyanna themed Craft Workshop Weekends during 2026. Each day of the workshop weekends features 2 in-depth classes, lasting 2½ hours, allowing plenty of time to master techniques and get hands-on with your favourite products – and are all about giving you more time, more learning and more fun. Classes will be hosted by celebrity crafters including Stephanie Weightman, Mel Heaton, Lynda Chapman, Ian Davies and David Wait – and Anna-Louise will visit the events to present talks about Pollyanna’s life. Sunday morning will include the opportunity for an exclusive private visit to Pollyanna’s private gallery with a free welcome gift. Anna-Louise will welcome the crafters and tell the stories behind the original paintings on exhibition. Provisional details of the first Pollyanna weekend in June are listed in events – the confirmed ticket price and programme will be confirmed as soon as they have been finalised.

The Academy is located just 15 minutes from junction 29 of the M1, and less than 30 minutes from Chesterfield and Alfreton train stations.
