Funniest Ever Christmas TV Cock-Ups

Over the festive period a classic appearance by Pollyanna on Create and Craft was selected for inclusion on “Funniest Ever Christmas TV Cock-ups” Channel Five’s fabulously funny Yuletide special, featuring blunders and bloopers from the last 40 years of TV and film from around the world.

 

Narrated by Angus Deaton and featuring clips from shows including Morecambe & Wise and This Morning to Home Alone and Blue Peter, guest celebrities reacted to hilarious Christmas TV nightmares caught on camera. Cooking, weather, news, movies and daytime TV – nothing was safe in this laugh-out-loud treasure trove.

Pollyanna could be seen in the opening credits, and subsequently the full excerpt was shown, taken from a ‘Strictly Come Crafting’ dance themed show.  In the clip presenter Dean Wilson (below left) can be seen twirling Pollyanna around the floor – but an enthusiastic move sees her continuing to spin across the studio, crashing into a table full of art materials, and doubling up with laughter!

Among the celebrities commenting on the clip in the show, Reverend Kate Botley said “It just keeps getting worse” while singer Aled Jones says of Dean and Pollyanna’s dancing “It wasn’t a ten was it? I think Craig (Revel-Horwood) would have probably given it a one!”
