Helen Skelton Picks a Winner!

Everyone who kindly befriended our rescued cheetah Pollyanna before the 30th July last year was entered in to a prize draw to win one of three signed copies of the book A Cheetah’s Tale by HRH Princess Michael of Kent.

The drawing of the winners names took place just after the last edition of the newsletter went to press – and the lucky names were picked by popular TV presenter Helen Skelton (above left with Foundation president Anna-Louise).

Helen is a former Blue Peter presenter and a familiar face on popular TV show Countryfile. She  covered the Rio Olympics for the BBC – and has also become renowned for undertaking extreme challenges for charity, having kayaked the entire length of the River Amazon and become only the second woman ever to finish the 78-mile Namibian ultra marathon. She is the first person to reach the south pole using a bicycle and has even walked a 150-metre tightrope between chimneys at Battersea Power Station 66 metres above ground! So selecting our winners proved an extremely  easy task….!

The lucky winners are : Mrs A. Smith Louth, Lincs, Mrs D. Cowell Gravesend, Kent and Mrs S. Hatcher Newark, Notts.
