Robin Painting in Poetry book

One of Pollyanna’s iconic paintings of a robin is featured in the latest collection of work by poet Adrienne Winter.

Adrienne told us “I wanted to use the picture to illustrate the little poem which it inspired in the first place.          I think it is exquisite.”

 

“I sing in ice and frost and snow,
I sing in bitter cold;
I sing because of what I know
Before the buds unfold.”
