For fifteen years Pollyanna ran a registered hospital for birds of prey from her home. Caring mainly for injured and orphaned raptors, she also rehabilitated hedgehogs, squirrels and other mammals. This uniquely close contact with the creatures in her care is reflected in the realism and vitality of her work.
Angel the barn owl was a permanent resident in Pollyanna’s wildlife sanctuary. She became one of Pollyanna’s favourite models over many years, sitting happily in the studio for hours on end watching as Pollyanna reproduced her soft white feathers in paint.
Reproduced from Pollyanna’s original artwork onto a newly developed eco-friendly material this is an extremely cost effective alternative to traditional canvases. The lightweight piece is supplied ready to hang.
