Pollyanna made many expeditions into India and has visited Ranthambore, probably the best known of the tiger reserves.
Here she was able to sketch and paint the remains of the ruined fort and temples, among which the tigers still roam.
She was lucky enough to see two tigers during her stay at Ranthambore, and was inspired to complete this evocative painting of a tiger at rest in the ruins of a temple.
