Although Pollyanna was renowned for her expeditions into remote parts of the world to study and paint endangered species in their natural habitats, she also loved to paint the animals found much closer to home.
She made regular visits to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, and loved to paint the abundant wildlife she sketched while there. And she couldn’t resist painting of this Highland cow – an animal for whom every day is a bad hair day!
