Pollyanna has long held a fascination for painting big cats. She sketched this magnificent male lion sitting proudly on a sand dune at dawn while on safari in Namibia.
The Pollyanna Pickering Foundation actively supports big cat conservation internationally, and has helped fund pens for rescued lions at the Born Free Sanctuary in Shamwari. Pollyanna has also given her support to Lionaid who are working to protect these cats in the wild. 20% of every lion picture sold will fo directly to conservation projects.
