Pollyanna held the role of UK ambassador of remarkable wild cheetah rescue and relocation programme based in South Africa. She painted this evocative image to raise funds to support their work.
Pollyanna had the opportunity to visit the De Wildt Cheetah Foundation, a remarkable facility which conducts long term conservation research and education programs relating to the wild cheetah to ensure its long term survival. The Centre’s work has resulted in the major achievement of helping to conserve what was once a threatened species.
This atmospheric painting of a reclining in front of a watering hole at sunset, was completed ispired by the sketches made during her visit to the sanctuary.
